O'Connell and Rodriguez Family Dental

O’Connell and Rodriguez Family Dental is a two-doctor general practice on South Main Street in New City, where Dr. Daniel O’Connell has cared for local families since 1985. He is joined by Dr. Raquel Rodriguez, and together they see patients of every age — in many cases three generations of the same family.

The practice describes itself as treating patients as partners in care, with treatment plans built around both oral health and cosmetic goals. Two things they emphasize that are unusual enough to be worth noting: they run on time and do not overbook the schedule, and they aim to keep every visit gentle and stress-free.

Services span routine and complex work alike — initial comprehensive exams with oral cancer screening and periodontal evaluation, preventive hygiene visits, fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, periodontal treatment, dentures, dental implants including All-on-4 and All-on-6 full-arch restorations, Invisalign®, professional teeth whitening (both in-office and take-home), porcelain veneers and cosmetic smile makeovers, pediatric care with fluoride and sealants, TMJ treatment, and emergency dental care.

Billing. This is a fee-for-service office. They will submit claims to your insurance as a courtesy, but they are not contracted as an in-network provider — worth a call to the office before your first visit to understand what your plan will reimburse. They accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, cash and personal checks, offer financing through CareCredit, and have an online bill-pay option.

The office is in Suite 208 with ample parking in the building’s own lot. Note that they are closed Wednesdays, and that Monday is their late day, with appointments until 7:00pm.
