Dr. Meira Stepansky Scheiner, DMD

Dr. Meira Stepansky Scheiner is a general and cosmetic dentist at Dr. Gedalya Rapoport & Associates in Pomona, and has been in practice since 2008. Her focus is providing aesthetically pleasing treatment in a comfortable environment — she has a warm demeanor and takes pride in the relationships she builds with her patients.

She is a family dentist comfortable treating patients of every age, and takes a conservative, minimally invasive approach to her work. She has completed extensive continuing education in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, nerve treatment, Invisalign®, and the administration of nitrous oxide sedation — a practical combination for patients who want cosmetic work, clear-aligner orthodontics, or help getting through a longer appointment comfortably, all in one office.

Training. Dr. Scheiner earned a BA in Biology from Yeshiva University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and on the Dean’s List, then her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After dental school she completed a residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey focused on general and cosmetic dentistry, followed by a second residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, concentrating on emergency dental care and head and neck trauma in a hospital setting. Through dental school and both residencies she volunteered in community dental clinics, caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Dr. Scheiner lives in Connecticut with her family. When she is not treating patients you will find her with her children, in a yoga class, or out with her husband at the New York Philharmonic.
