About Dr. Greenberg
Dr. Brian Greenberg is the endodontist at Dr. Gedalya Rapoport & Associates in Pomona — meaning patients at the practice who need root canal therapy are generally treated in-house by a specialist rather than referred out, which is unusual for a general dental office of this size.
He was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, where he graduated with great distinction from McGill University in 2003 with a B.Sc. in Physiology. He earned his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2007, where he received the Division of Excellence in Endodontics, and completed his specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.
Research and teaching. At the 2009 meeting of the American Association of Endodontists, Dr. Greenberg was awarded the AAE/Dentsply Resident Award for his clinical research comparing the anesthetic efficacy of articaine and lidocaine for inferior alveolar nerve blocks in patients with irreversible pulpitis — in plain terms, work on how to get a painfully inflamed tooth properly numb, which is exactly the problem most patients dread about a root canal. He went on to serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Endodontics, and is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Passaic County Dental Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Greenberg enjoys hockey, golf, and time with his English bulldog, Winston.
