About Dr. Cohen
Dr. Lisa Nava Cohen is a board-certified endodontist at Rockland Dental Specialists in New City. She specializes in diagnosing and treating tooth pain and tooth damage from decay, disease, or injury, with a focus on root canal therapy and related endodontic care. Patients often note her caring demeanor, professionalism, and commitment to treating the person as well as the teeth.
Dr. Cohen earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2005, then completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System. She practiced as a general dentist for several years in the United States and abroad before returning to the VA for specialty training. She received her endodontic certificate from the Manhattan VA Endodontic Program and went on to become a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and incorporates the latest research and technology into her practice. When she is not in the office, she lives in Passaic, NJ with her husband and their five children.
