Dr. Zev Lazarus, DMD

Dr. Zev Lazarus is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Born and raised in Monsey, NY, he developed a love for nature and science at a young age — a passion that first led him to a degree with honors in Biology from Touro University, followed by his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

At Harvard, Dr. Lazarus gained extensive experience across all areas of general dentistry, treating underserved communities in Massachusetts and abroad in remote areas of Peru. While in Peru he observed many patients suffering from severe gum disease, which ignited his passion for periodontics.

After dental school he completed a three-year specialty residency in Periodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, earning his certificate and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. During that time he acquired extensive training and expertise in dental implant surgery, implant complications, bone grafting, soft tissue procedures, and regenerative techniques.
