About Dr. Friedman

Dr. Yitzchok Friedman has served the New Hempstead and broader Orthodox Jewish community for over 16 years. A graduate of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, he combines rigorous clinical training with a deeply personal approach to patient care.

A fluent Yiddish and Hebrew speaker, Dr. Friedman is attuned to the cultural and scheduling needs of his community โ€” including accommodating Shabbat and Yom Tov schedules and understanding the unique oral health considerations of his patient population.

His clinical focus includes comprehensive general dentistry, dental implants (placement and restoration), and Invisalign for adults and teens. He completed a fellowship in implant dentistry at Loma Linda University and has placed hundreds of implants over his career โ€” handling most cases in-house without specialist referrals.

Dr. Friedman is known in the community as a dentist who truly cares โ€” patients often describe him as feeling like a member of the family.
