About Dr. Chen
Dr. Robert Chen founded Nanuet Dental Associates in 2003 immediately after graduating from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. In the two decades since, he has built one of the most trusted family practices in Rockland County, with many patients who have been with him since the day he opened.
A Harvard-trained dentist with a Cornell undergraduate degree in chemistry, Dr. Chen brings an analytical precision to every procedure. He is known for his thorough diagnostic approach — nothing gets missed at a Dr. Chen exam.
His clinical interests include comprehensive cosmetic dentistry (veneers, Invisalign, whitening) and managing complex restorative cases. He lectures annually at the Rockland County Dental Society’s continuing education series and mentors dental students.
Dr. Chen speaks Mandarin, making him a valuable resource for the Chinese-speaking patient community in Rockland and Bergen Counties.
