About Dr. Stein

Dr. Rachel Stein is a board-certified pediatric dentist at Chestnut Ridge Dental, where she has practiced since 2014. Trained at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia — one of the nation’s top pediatric residency programs — she is uniquely equipped to care for even the most complex pediatric dental cases.

Dr. Stein’s practice is built around the idea that dental anxiety is a learned behavior — and that the right experience at a young age can make children into lifelong dental health advocates. Her treatment room is bright, friendly, and designed to feel more like a playroom than a dental office.

She sees patients from the first tooth through the teenage years and specializes in early orthodontic evaluation, fluoride treatment, sealants, and compassionate management of dental phobia. She is also experienced in treating children with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other special needs.

A Yiddish speaker, Dr. Stein serves many families in the observant Jewish community throughout southern Rockland County.
