About Dr. Park

Dr. Emily Park is a board-certified periodontist and the clinical lead at Pomona Dental Wellness. She completed her periodontics specialty training at the University of Minnesota, where her research focused on the systemic connections between periodontal disease and cardiovascular health.

Her practice philosophy is holistic: gum disease doesn’t just affect your mouth, it affects your entire body. She sees periodontal health as inseparable from overall wellness and works collaboratively with patients’ primary care physicians and cardiologists when managing complex cases.

Clinically, Dr. Park specializes in LANAP laser gum therapy (a minimally invasive alternative to traditional gum surgery), implant placement and management of peri-implant disease, and non-surgical treatment of moderate to severe periodontitis.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Periodontology and speaks English and Korean.
